Mount Patti Global Glory Preservers Ltd. is an independent tourism promotion and heritage organization committed to honoring Nigeria’s past while illuminating its brilliant future.

From this vantage point in 1897, British journalist Flora Shaw gazed upon the landscape and coined the name “Nigeria.” Today, we preserve and elevate that legacy, ensuring Mount Patti becomes a global beacon of natural beauty, cultural richness, sporting excellence and sustainable development.

Mount Patti is more than a hill.

Rising 458 meters above sea level, it is a living monument of history, trade, colonial memory, community resilience and national identity.

Mount Patti has witnessed centuries of history, including ancient trade routes, colonial milestones such as Lord Lugard’s Rest House, and the enduring resilience of local communities. Yet for too long, this treasure remained grossly underutilized.
